Our EKOBA Historical Site and Museum is located adjacent to the Municipal Office with our front facing Lake Street North. We have been able to put together many donated artifacts form Pioneering homes and farms of our area.The Museum is open for the months of July and August, Tuesday to Saturday and by appointment anytime. The Museum has reworked some of our spaces. These changes increased our displays, we are creating an office and work centre currently. If you are interested in our pioneers or their way of life, drop in for a visit us. - Ekoba Society

NEW EVENT: VIDEOS FROM THE PAST - Logging in the 1940's and The A.C.R. as it was.
This event held at the Echo Bay Community Hall on October 30, 2015. We had the doors open for coffee and muffins at 10 a.m. Movies started with the A. C. R. before lunch and viewed the Logging following lunch. This was a great event and fun was had by all. It brought back wonderful memories while being educational too. The committee looks to do more of this in the future. Please stay tuned to this site for futher updates. The 8th Annual Echo Bay Extravaganza was celebrated on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Echo Bay Elks located at 96 Church Street, from 1pm – 5pm. It started off with a Gospel Show at 1pm and then 2pm – 5 pm a variety of rock, pop and country music from John McClenaghan and the Perfect Blend. There will be games and pony rides for the children too. Come on out and have some fun.
The committee would also like to thank the Echo Bay Elks, Child Care Algoma & the Echo Bay United Church Women's Group for their continued partnership with this event.
